Open-minded “It’s OKAY to have different beliefs!”
We understand and appreciate our own cultures and personal histories, and are open to the perspectives, values, and traditions of other individuals and communities.
We are accustomed to seeking and evaluating a range of points of view and are willing to grow from the experience.
Activities for families:
- Encourage your child to try out new things: new food, new games, and new activities, new playmates, the ideas are limitless.
- Expose your child to different festivals, celebrations, and traditions and be sure to present them in a non-judgmental way.
- Encourage your child to really listen to others when they speak. (How often do WE need to practice this as parents??)
